For this job we were trying to find the client a cost-effective option whilst still being practical for a family with young children. They wanted a hard flooring type for the lounge and hallway and then soft but hard-wearing carpets for the stairs, landing and bedrooms. After our initial visit from the fitters to measure up and discuss products, we recommended a sheet vinyl for the down stairs areas and then a short and dense twist pile carpet. The pile being short and dense will increase the life span of the product whilst it still feeling soft to the touch from the dense twist style fibres. We left the customer with a few different sample books for them to browse through in their home to see what would work.

The Outcome

The house looks stylish and modern, whilst still being practical for a family. The project was done on a really reasonable budget too which just shows that you don’t have to spend thousands to get the results you want!

I cannot recommend E W Flooring Specialists enough. The lovely ladies Rachel and Jess in the showroom were so friendly and helpful from the moment I contacted them. Luke and Daniel came to fit carpets in the bedrooms and they were both so polite and professional. The carpets look and feel incredible, I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be using them in the future for my flooring downstairs, and would not hesitate to recommend them. An absolute quality, family run business!

Can't recommend this company enough. After visiting all the usual big stores it was such a breath of fresh air to come across a company like this that actually has a personal touch. There knowledge and commitment was extrememly satisfying. After 2 visits to there well stocked shop ,2 visits to our house and many phones calls from me with there expert knowledge and experience we agreed on a plan and design and we could'nt be happier with the end result.The fitting team are also as friendly & considerate when doing the work. A great little family business, keep up the good work and thank you for all for the time & effort you gave us.

Stairs and landing carpet fitted perfectly and tied in well at all thresholds including some difference in level. It looks amazing and we're very happy. Fitters were great and Daniel provided us with good advice when he came to measure up. Will use again.

The family based team at EW Flooring have done such a great job of our house. We love our oak parquet floor, LVT flooring, bedroom carpets and stair carpet. We appreciate all the effort and attention to detail. The fitters lined up the pattern in the herringbone stair carpet, the parquet flooring looks stunning. They even made good existing flooring.
